I used to deep-fry chikuwa wrapped quail eggs, but I wanted to make something lighter, so I cooked them in teriyaki sauce.
Evenly coat chikuwa rolls with katakuriko. The katakuriko thicken the sauce and helps cling the sauce. Toss the pan quickly once you pour in the sauce to prevent scorching.
