Rejuvenating Sesame Marinated Bonito

This is a regular item on our family's menu. It has no fishy smell and has a nice sesame sauce.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Katsuo (bonito) (seared or raw)
350g
Onion
1 large
Radish sprouts
1 packet
★Ground white sesame seeds
5 tablespoons
★Sugar
3 tablespoons
★Vinegar
4 tablespoons
★Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
★Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
★Garlic (grated)
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Mix all of the ★ ingredients together.
2. Thickly slice the bonito into 5mm thick pieces. Add the marinade from Step 1, mix it up a bit and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
3. Cut the onion thinly and lightly rinse with water. Cut the radish sprouts in half.
4. Put on the onion slices at the bottom, bonito on top, and garnish with radish sprouts.
