Easy Rosemary and Sausage Rice Gratin (Doria)

Herbs help to prevent aging and may even help you lose weight too, so let's try to incorporate them a little at a time in our diets.

Ingredients: Serves 2

White rice
for 2 bowls
New onion
1 (170g)
Wiener sausages
to taste
Cake flour
2 1/2 tablespoons
20 g
a dash
Easy melting cheese
as much as you like


1. Mince the new onion and microwave at 700 watts for 3 minutes. Slice the sausage and mix with rice.
2. In a bowl, mix cake flour and butter, and microwave at 700 watts for 1 minute. Remove the bowl and beat gently. Whisk in the milk, a little at a time.
3. In the sauce created in step 2, mix in the onion from step 1, the rosemary, and a touch of salt.
4. In a gratin dish, spread out the rice and cover with the sauce from step 3. Sprinkle plenty of cheese. Cook in an oven preheated to 480F/250C until the the cheese is melted and a golden brown crust forms.
