Smooth Tofu Pudding

A healthy and smooth pudding.
You only need a blender and microwave! This is a very easy recipe.

Ingredients: For 2-3 ramekins

(A). Tofu
75 g
(A). Milk
75 ml
(A). Egg yolk ( or whole egg)
(A). Sponge flour
1 tablespoon
(A). Corn starch (or sponge flour)
1 tablespoon
(A). Sugar
35 g
(A). Rum or vanilla essence
about 1/2 teaspoon
Double cream
100 ml
Strawberry jam
As needed


1. Put ingredients listed as (A) in a blender. (Absorb water from tofu with paper towels.)
2. Pour in a heat-resistance container. Microwave for 1 minute at 600 W, then stir. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Microwave for another 30 seconds and stir.
3. It will be still lumpy, so puree in a blender until smooth. Now, you've made what I like to call "Tofu Custard Cream."
4. Add double cream and blend for 1-2 minutes.
5. Pour into ramekins and chill in the fridge. When cooled, serve with jam if you like.
6. Note: I also cooked this recipe with a whole egg. If you use egg yolk only, the pudding has a brighter yellow colour and stronger custard taste.
