Double Chocolate Scones in 30 Minutes

No need for butter or eggs. The key is to use heavy cream. They're crunchy and moist and are easy scones full of chocolate.


Heavy cream (chocolate flavored)
150 ml
Cake flour
200 g
Cocoa powder
10 g
Baking powder
2 teaspoons
2 tablespoons
2 to 3 tablespoons
a pinch
Chocolate bar


1. Combine the cake flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and sift.
2. Mix in the sugar and salt.
3. Add heavy cream.
4. Use chopsticks to mix.
5. Mix the dry ingredients until crumbly by rubbing against your hands.
6. Break the chocolate bar and add to the bowl. Make them big for a satisfying crunch later.
7. Add 2 tablespoons milk and squeeze the dough into a single lump. Don't knead and work quickly. Add another tablespoon of milk if it's too dry.
8. Set aside to rest for 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180℃. Chill the dough in the fridge if you like.
9. Dust your workplace and roll out the dough. Fold in 2 or 3 times.
10. Roll out the dough until it's about 2 to 3 cm thick.
11. Chop into desired shapes or cut with a cookie cutter.
12. Align on parchment paper and bake for approx. 20 minutes at 180℃.
13. Make sure to use chocolate flavored heavy cream You could use anything for the chocolate bar!
14. You may easily make different variations by using different kinds of chocolate bars. Also good with white chocolate.
15. Try adding marshmallows or nuts! Just add when you're also adding the chocolate bar.
