Story Behind this Recipe
This is a chocolate variation of the recipe for English Scones in 30 Minutes (Recipe ID: 507851). It's easy because you use chocolate flavored heavy milk and a bar of chocolate. No need for butter or eggs! Using heavy cream makes it moist even after some time has passed. You could certainly make this within 30 minutes.
The key is to make the mixture flaky after you add the heavy cream! Add milk in small batches. Think that you're gathering the dough into one single lump rather than mixing everything together Chill the cream and milk before using. If the dough seems too runny, try chilling it in the fridge.
