Bitter Melon Hamburgers Topped with Melted Cheese

Bitter Melon Hamburgers Topped with Melted Cheese

The gooey melted cheese helps to lessen the bitterness of the bitter melon!
You can produce a mature flavor if you add goya to the hamburgers that everybody loves!!

Ingredients: 2 people (8 patties)

Bitter melon
2 slices (divided 1 slice into fourths)
Vegetable Oil (for frying)
1 tablespoon
Flour (To coat when frying)
As needed
Soy sauce (for the sauce)
To taste
Hamburger patties
Ground mixed beef
Honey (Sugar or Mirin are also OK!)
1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon

1. Cut the bitter melon into roughly the same size, and remove the insides with a spoon. Slice it into about 7-8 mm.
2. Rub with salt (not listed), and rinse well.
3. (I don't like the bitter flavor, so I lightly boil the bitter melon in salt water).
4. Thoroughly knead the hamburger patties, and stick a slice of bitter melon on both sides. Cover in flour used for frying.
5. Add oil to a pan, and brown the patties on both sides. Top with cheese, and cover the pan with a lid. The hamburgers are done once the cheese has melted .
6. Simply drizzle with soy sauce when eating.
