Dairy‐Free Chocolate Cream

This recipe is for an oil-, egg-, and dairy-free chocolate-flavored cream. You can use it for many things, such as decorating cakes.

Ingredients: About 1 cup

Firm tofu
200 g strained (about half a block)
Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons
Maple syrup
3 tablespoons
Ground white sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Rum or other liqueur of your choice
1/2 teaspoon


1. Let the tofu strain for at least 30 minutes. See Pecchin-san's "Simple and Labour-free!! Drained Tofu" (Recipe ID: 508276).
2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and use and electric mixer or food processor to mix very well, until smooth and free of any lumps.
