Fried Potato Meatballs

The addition of grated potato makes these meatballs tender and juicy, even when served after a while.

Ingredients: 2-4 people

Mixed ground beef and pork
1 medium sized (about 200g net weight)
1/2 cup
2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
To taste
Nutmeg (optional)
To taste
Frying oil
As needed
Lettuce (or your favorite vegetable)
To taste
Mayonnaise, ketchup, etc.
To taste


1. Knead salt, pepper, and nutmeg into the ground meat for 1-2 minutes.
2. Add panko, milk, and grated potatoes.
3. Mix together thoroughly.
4. Roll into about 3 cm balls.
5. Fry for several minutes over medium heat until golden brown, and drain the oil.
6. Prepare dipping sauce with whatever ingredients you like (I used mayonnaise, mustard, honey, ketchup, black pepper, honey, tonkatsu sauce, and sweet chili sauce).
7. Plate the meatballs on a bed of roughly shredded lettuce, and eat it with sauce.

You can eat this whatever sauce combination you prefer. I thought of this recipe that my family and friends could enjoy while leisurely talking.
