Easy Microwave-Steamed Tofu Bread

This recipe is easy--just knead the tofu. The kinako flavour is delicious.

Ingredients: 5 cups

Pancake mix
Silken tofu
120g × 2
Black bean kinako
3 tablespoons
Black sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Maple syrup
as needed


1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix. Pour the mixture into the tofu containers to about 60% full, and lightly press the centres (moisten your fingers and press to make it easier).
2. Wrap loosely and cook each container for 1 minute in a microwave at 500W.
3. Turn the container over and cook for 30 more seconds at 200W.
4. Serve on a plate, and drizzle on maple syrup or butter and enjoy.
5. You can also bake it in a pan.
