Easy Tender Crumbly Cookies

These rich, crispy cookies will crumble and melt in your mouth. Made with vegetable oil and no eggs!! This recipe is inexpensive - and best of all, it's easy.

Ingredients: About 50 cookies

Cake flour
250 g
80 g
Vegetable oil
50 g
100 g


1. Put the room temperature butter and vegetable oil in a bowl and mix well with a whisk until combined.
2. Add sugar in 2 batches, mixing well each time.
3. Sift the cake flour into the bowl and fold in with a rubber spatula. After the flour is incorporated, use your hands to knead and bring the dough together.
4. Form into a cylindrical shape and refrigerate for 30 minutes. If you want to make cut-out cookies, wrap the dough in plastic wrap without shaping it and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
5. Slice the dough into 5mm - 1cm thick and bake in an oven preheated to 355F/180C for about 13 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely, and they're done!
6. If you slice the dough thickly (1-1.5 cm), the crumbly texture will be even better!! Hmm, I wonder how many times I've made these... this is one of my favorite recipes.
