Germinated Brown Rice Rejuvelac

This rejuvelac is a drink containing plant-based lactobacillus that has a high survival rate in the intestines, and is effective against preventing intestinal cancer. The mild taste makes it easy to drink; you can also use it to make homemade yogurt or cheese.

Ingredients: a liter a day for 3-4 days

Germinated brown rice (wet)
50 g
Mineral water (or filtered water)
1 liter x 3-4

Steps

1. Put germinated brown rice (refer to recipe) and water in a clean container, cover, then let it sit for 24 hours at room temperature.
2. Small bubbles will start to form, and when it starts to produce a subtle smell like the water used to rinse rice, it's ready. Strain the water into another container, and store in the refrigerator.
3. Drink the rejuvelac within 24 hours, add 1 liter of water to the container with the germinated brown rice, then let it sit for 24 hours at room temperature to ferment.
