Cocoa and Marmalade French Toast

I topped chocolate French toast with marmalade for a dessert. The perfect combination of sweet and tart.

Ingredients: 1serving

Your favorite 5–6 slice loaf of bread
1 slice
100 ml
○Cocoa powder
about 1 teaspoon
○Hot water
1 tablespoon
Sugar (any kind)
1/2 teaspoon
to taste
to taste
Butter or oil
as needed


1. Thoroughly dissolve the ○ cocoa powder in the hot water. Add the sugar and mix well.
2. Fully combine the ● ingredients, then add half of this mixture to the coca from Step 1 and mix well. Then, mix the other half in in the same way.
3. Cut the bread into four pieces and soak in the batter for 10 minutes on each side. Heat the butter or oil in a frying pan and fry both sides on medium-low heat.
4. Once cooked, top with marmalade. If you mix a little honey into the marmalade, it's delicious.
