Creamy Sweetened Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients: 10 sweet potato containers

Sweet potato
500 g (2 medium)
30 g
60 g
Egg yolk
Heavy cream
1/4 cup (50 ml)
Egg yolks (for glossing)
a small amount
Black sesame seeds
for decoration
Vanilla extract
a few drops


1. Peel the boiled sweet potatoes.
2. Here's the "heart" of this recipe - passing it through a strainer! At the time, I had no proper tools... so here's what I used! It took me about an hour!
3. The sweet potatoes are now really smooth. And tasty, too!!
4. Into a frying pan with melted butter, add sugar and the strained sweet potatoes in small batches. Knead. Now add heavy cream and vanilla extract, then continue to knead.
5. When everything is mixed together, turn the heat off and add the egg yolks. Mix thoroughly. Because you pressed the sweet potatoes through a strainer, the mixture is nice and smooth.
6. Pack the mixture into liners or molds. Smooth out the surface.
7. Brush on the egg yolks to add shine. Bake in a 180℃ oven until golden brown - voila!
