Tomato Curry - Full of Beans

Tomato Curry - Full of Beans

Try making a tasty curry with seasonings on hand. Just combine the ingredients and simmer.

Ingredients: 3-4 servings

Minced pork
about 100 g
White wine (or sake)
2 tablespoons
1 stalk (50 g)
Curry powder
1 and 1/2 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
✿ Your choice of pre-cooked beans
1 packet (140 g)
✿ Canned tomatoes
1/2 can (about 200 ml)
✿ Water
200 ml
✿ Consomme bouillon
1 cube
✿ Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
✿ Honey
1/2 to 1 tablespoon
✿ Spices and herbs of your choice
to taste

1. Mince the vegetables.
2. Heat 1.5 tablespoon oil in a pot, and cook the meat. When browned, stir in the wine.
3. Add vegetables and cook until tender. Add curry powder, flour, salt and pepper (not listed) and blend until the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
4. Add the ingredients marked with ✿, simmer for about 20 minutes, then serve.
5. "Izumiuna" garnished the curry generously with lettuce, cheese, and a sunny-side up.
6. I used a 400 g can of cut tomatoes and drained the water. That also worked well.
7. I also tried this recipe with a mound of summer vegetables such as zucchini, eggplant and new potatoes.

Story Behind this Recipe

Since ready-made curry roux has a high-caloric content, I came up with a simple homemade curry.
