Our Family's Exquisite Celery Pickles with Soy Sauce

The smell of celery will disappear with the help of the vinegar in this irresistible dish. With this recipe, you'll be eating *People told me there was too much sesame oil, so I changed the measurement to about 2 teaspoons.

2 stalks
Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
4 tablespoons

2 teaspoons
Sesame oil
2 teaspoons


1. Cut the celery lengthwise. Chop the leaves roughly.
2. Add celery and all the seasonings in a heatproof dish, and mix. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave for 1.5 minutes at 600 W.
3. Remove from the microwave, and let it sit for about 5 minutes. If you can leave it for 30 minutes, the celery will absorb the flavour nicely.
4. It looks like this after about 30 minutes.
