Fruit Yogurt Agar (Kanten)

The refreshing yogurt and sweet fruit match well and are easy to eat.

Ingredients: about double a fruit cans' worth

Unsweetened yogurt
1 carton ( 500g )
Water
400ml
Sugar
55g
Powdered kanten
8g
Canned fruit
2 cans ( 110 g of fruit in 1 can )

Steps

1. Pour yogurt in a bowl. Mix with a spoon and make it smooth. Drain the syrup from the canned fruit. Add fruit to the yogurt and mix well.
2. Combine water and kanten in a small pot and mix well. Heat in low-medium and cook until it starts to bubble to let the kanten melt completely.
3. When the kanten has melted, add sugar and mix. Pour into the bowl from Step 1 and mix well quickly. (If you don't mix it quickly, it will become hard.)
4. Moistened a container slightly and pour in the ingredients quickly. Leave to cool slightly and then chill in the refrigerator.
5. This time, I used canned peach and tangerine, and added cut strawberries. I used a small can, so if you are using a big can of fruits, adjust the amount.

Story Behind this Recipe

I made this to use up yogurt I had. It is easy to make and has lots of fruit in it, so it is delicious.
It is not so sweet so if you prefer it sweeter, you can add 10-20 g more sugar if you like.
