Pan-fried Chicken with Garlic Cheese Panko

Pan-fried Chicken with Garlic Cheese Panko

This is the second of my pan-fried chicken with panko. This one is with mouthwatering garlic-cheese flavor.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast or thigh meat
☆ Panko
4 tablespoons
☆ Garlic powder
4 to 5 shakes
☆ Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon
☆ Krazy Salt (seasoned salt)
4 to 5 shakes
☆ Black pepper
a pinch
about 2 tablespoons

1. Put all the ingredients marked ☆ in a plastic bag. Puff up the bag and close it, and shake it around to mix the ingredients together.
2. Take the skin off the chicken and cut into bite size pieces. I cut it into 8 pieces this time. If the meat is thick, cut into half.
3. Put the chicken into the bag from Step 1 and shake well to coat the chicken evenly.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan and put in the chicken. Cook over medium heat.
5. When both sides are golden brown, it's done. If you think it lacks salt, sprinkle a little Krazy Salt to finish.
6. The first in the panko coated chicken is consomme flavored (Recipe ID: 747247)
7. No. 3 in the series is nori seaweed & salt flavored (Recipe ID: 871890)
8. 4th in the series is garlic and soy sauce flavored (Recipe ID: 971130)

Story Behind this Recipe

My hubby said he wanted to eat "Garlic Tonkatsu" (Recipe ID: 441926) but we didn't have tonkatsu pork, so I made it with chicken breast, which we did have.
