"Sweet N' Spicy All-Purpose Dressing" (Recipe ID: 701600) 1 serving (ingredients are below)
★Sugar, sake, mirin, soy sauce
2 tablespoons each
1/4 teaspoon - to taste
Remove the seeds from the pumpkin squash, wrap in plastic wrap, microwave at 600 W for 4 minutes, and let cool. After it has cooled, cut into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the onion in half and slice thinly, cut the pork belly meat into bite-sized pieces, heat the oil in a thick bottomed pot, and sauté the pork belly meat and onions.
Once the pork belly meat has browned, add in the ★ ingredients. Add in the pumpkin squash as well, mix it all lightly together, cover with a drop lid, and stew over a low heat for 10 minutes.
Add in the butter, mix thoroughly, and turn off the heat. Cover with a drop lid, and let sit until it cools to let the flavor soak in.

Story Behind this Recipe
A stew I make with my all-purpose sauce. This is sweet, so it will be well-received by kids and adults alike.
The kabocha will fall apart if you cut it too finely in Step 1, so be careful! Cut off the skin if you don't like it. When boiling in Step 3, put the kabocha to the bottom of the pot as possible, and turn over when stewing so that it can easily absorb the flavors.
