Bacon-Wrapped Carrot and Bell Pepper

This is a very colorful dish with orange, green and pink. I recommend it for bentos!

Ingredients: 8 rolls

1/4 of a medium carrot
Green bell peppers
Bacon slices (cut in half)
8 half slices
Salt and pepper
To taste
2 teaspoons


1. Cut the carrot and bell peppers into thin matchsticks, and boil or microwave to soften.
2. Wrap a few pieces each of the carrot and bell pepper in a piece of bacon, and secure with a toothpick. Repeat to make 8 rolls.
3. Heat the oil in a frying pan and pan fry the rolls. When they are nicely browned, season with a little salt and pepper and they're done.
