Tear the cheese with your hands. Pour the milk into a heatproof bowl, and add the cheese. Microwave it on the 'heat milk' mode to melt the cheese.
Add the sugar and a small amount of salt (to your liking) and mix.
Sift in flour and baking powder at once, and mix.
Put cupcake liners (about 7 cm in diameter) in ramekins and pour the mixture. Steam for 10 minutes over high heat, and it's done.

I'm hooked on steamed bread.
A hint is to wrap the steamer lid with cloth. Use non-melting cheese. When the bread cools, wrap with plastic wrap to store the bread. This is an excellent snack as it is low in calories and is filling (compared to cakes).
