Pan-fried Chicken with Consommé Breadcrumbs

Pan-fried Chicken with Consommé Breadcrumbs

This is the first recipe in my panko-coated chicken series! It's crispy and delicious.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken breast or thigh meat
1 slice
☆ Panko
4 tablespoons
☆ Soup stock granules (consommé powder)
2 teaspoons
☆ Salt and pepper
3 to 4 dashes
☆ Dried parsley
a pinch of each
2 tablespoons or more

1. Put all the ingredients marked ☆ in a plastic bag. Puff up the bag and close it, and shake well to mix the ingredients together.
2. Remove the skin off the chicken and cut into bite size pieces. I cut it into 8 pieces this time. If the meat is thick, cut it horizontally first.
3. Put the chicken into the bag from Step 1 and shake well to coat the chicken evenly.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken over medium heat.
5. When both sides are golden brown, it's done!
6. The second in the panko chicken series is garlic cheese (Recipe ID: 751281)
7. The recipe 3rd in the series is nori seaweed & salt flavored (Recipe ID: 871890).
8. The 4th recipe in the panko-coated chicken series has a garlic and soy sauce flavor (Recipe ID: 971130).
9. Consommé panko goes well with eggplant (Recipe ID: 882834).

Story Behind this Recipe

I created this recipe because I wanted to eat a crunchy chicken dish. The consommé, salt, and pepper gives it a satisfying flavor.
