Ume-Chikuwa Rolls for Bento

This is perfect to fill the empty gaps in your bento.

Ingredients: 2 pieces

1/2 cut lengthwise
Nori seaweed
a small amount
Umeboshi paste
a small amount


1. Cut a chikuwa lengthwise in half. Cut a piece of nori that's a bit shorter than the chikuwa.
2. Spread umeboshi paste on the outside of the chikuwa. Put it on the nori and roll it up and secure with 2 toothpicks.
3. Cut in between the toothpicks.
4. Take the toothpicks out slowly, and exchange with cute bento pick! Pack into the gaps in a bento box.
