Chinese Cellophane Noodle Salad

This can be easily made using just one pot!

Ingredients: roughly 2 servings (in our household)

Cellophane noodles (made from mung beans)
30 g
3 cm (julienned)
1/2 (julienned)
Bacon (or ham)
2 pieces (julienned)
1 1/2 tablespoons
*Soy sauce
2 scant tablespoons
2 tablespoons
*Sesame oil
1 scant tablespoon
110 ml
Ground sesame seeds
A lot


1. Julienne the bacon, carrot, and cucumber into thin strips.
2. Put the noodles, carrots, bacon, and * seasonings into a pot. Cover with a lid, leaving a slight gap for air to escape, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
3. Once boiling, turn off the heat. Cover with a lid and let cool.
4. Add the cucumber and sesame seeds and mix together. If you let it sit in the refrigerator, the cucumbers will soften a bit and the flavors will settle.
