Authentic German Potatoes!

Authentic German Potatoes!

This authentic recipe was taught to me. It's so easy and fuss-free to make. Great with alcoholic drinks, or as an accompaniment to rice.

Main ingredients:
4 medium
Wiener sausages
80g (1 bag)
Flavoring ingredients:
3 tablespoons
Grain mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons
a small amount
Coarse ground black pepper
a small amount
Olive oil
a small amount

1. Peel the potatoes. Slice thinly and briefly soak in water. Leave in the strainer to drain.
2. Cut the sausages diagonally into moderately thin slices.
3. In a dry frying pan, sauté the sausages over low heat. When the sausages have browned thoroughly, remove from the pan and set them aside on a plate.
4. In the same frying pan, add olive oil, potato slices, salt, and pepper. Sauté until the potatoes turn a transparent white colour.
5. Turn up the heat to medium and add the sausages from step 3. Continue to sauté.
6. When the potatoes and sausage are well mixed, turn off the heat. Add the mayonnaise and grain mustard, mix well, and you are done.
