This tofu has a sweet-salty flavor. Add sesame seeds for their nuttiness, and ichimi chili pepper powder for a spicy bite.
This is usually made by coating the tofu in katakuriko, but I omitted the katakuriko coating step for the sake of speed. It's still delicious though!
Adjust the flavor depending on how much sauce is reduced. This keeps in the refrigerator for a few days.
