With Delicious Meatballs! Easy Kimchi Nabe (Hot Pot)

Make basic kimchi soup and meatballs, then just add your favorite vegetables and enjoy!

Ingredients: Serves 2 - 3

Chicken breast

Pork belly
3 pieces
◇ Finely chopped Japanese leek

◇ Egg

◇ Sake
1 tablespoon
◇ Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
◇ Katakuriko
1 tablespoon
◇ Grated ginger
1 teaspoon
◇ Salt and pepper
a small amount
Kimchi
150 - 200 g
〇 Water
3 cups
〇 Chicken soup stock
1 tablespoon
〇 Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
〇 Miso
3 tablespoons
〇 Sugar
1/2 tablespoon
Vegetables of your choice

Steps

1. Roughly chop the chicken breast and pork belly.
2. Put the meat from step ① into a bowl with the ◇ ingredients. Knead well with your hands until the mixture becomes sticky.
3. Add the 〇 ingredients and the kimchi (with its juices) to an earthenware pot. Bring to a boil and the kimchi soup is ready.
4. Now just add the vegetables of your choice and use a spoon to drop the meatballs into the soup. It's done.
