Just Mix and Cook! French Toast with Cheese

Enjoy this fluffy French toast with melting cheese. Cheese and maple syrup are an awesome combination.

Ingredients

Sliced bread (2cm thick)
1
Milk
100ml
Egg
1
Sugar
2 tablespoons or more
Melting type cheese
1 slice
Butter (or margarine)
to taste
Powdered sugar to finish
a small amount
Maple syrup to finish
to taste

Steps

1. Quarter the bread.
2. Thoroughly whisk the milk, egg, and sugar.
3. Soak the quartered bread into the mixture.
4. Heat a frying pan with butter, and cook the bread.
5. Toast the bread on both sides until browned.
6. Sandwich the cheese between the bread and it's done. These are also tasty with the cheese placed on the bread, and grilled to a crisp with the cheese side face down.
7. Sprinkle powdered sugar to taste. They're also great with maple syrup.
