Chocolate Cereal Bars

Would you like this for Valentine's Day? You can bake this in no time I added a step. I tried making a chocolate cereal tart as well!

Ingredients: 15 cm square container x 2

Chocolate cereal
100 g
Sliced almonds (or walnuts)
60 g


1. Finely chop the chocolate so that it's easy to melt.
2. Roast the almonds in the oven for 10 minutes at 160℃.
3. Add butter in a pot, heat on medium, and melt using a wooden spatula. Add the marshmallows, and melt until it becomes a creamy mixture.
4. Turn off the heat, add the chocolate, then mix well.
5. Add almonds and cereal, and combine.
6. Pour the mixture into a tray (or container) lined with plastic wrap. Press down and level using your hands. Remove the plastic wrap, and let it chill in the fridge.
7. When hardened, cut with a knife.
8. It's also great to put the mixture into truffle cups.
9. Cut one strip of the cereal bar in half, and wrap individually with waxed paper. I put them into a tall container.
10. Cut into bite-sized pieces and place into a pudding cup.
11. Put Step 9 into a clear bag, and decorate with a paper doily and ribbon.
