Hand Rolled Sushi Party Essentials

Hand rolled sushi is becoming more and more well known throughout the world. If you create sushi toppings native to different countries, everyone will be able to enjoy it.

Ingredients: 6 servings

Hot cooked white rice
5 rice cooker cups
Sushi rice
Refer to the directions
Japanese Plate
Shrimp
as needed
Tuna (sashimi quality)
as needed
Squid
as needed
Salmon
as needed
Scallop
as needed
Eel
as needed
Salmon roe
as needed
Hawaii Plate
Spam
1 can
Canned tuna
1 can (80g)
Eggs tartare
about 2 eggs
Avocado
to taste
Korean Plate
Bulgogi
to taste
Namul
to taste
Sesame seeds
as needed
Kimchi
as needed
Shared Plate
Daikon Radish Sprouts ・ Cucumber ・ Myoga Ginger
to taste
Shiso leaves
as needed (about 60 leaves)
Wasabi

Nori (dried seaweed sheet)

Steps

1. Arrange anything you would like for the Japanese sashimi plate. Dried plum, thick rolled egg, and minced tuna with green onion are some popular toppings.
2. For the Hawaiian Plate, slice the spam into 1cm wide sticks and fry in a frying pan. Mix the canned tuna with mayonnaise. Salmon and dry-cured ham are also good.
3. For the Korean Plate, I used store-bought namul. The bulgogi sauce was also store-bought, but you could also cook it with sesame oil. Adding onions is yummy.
