Versatile Herb Cheese

It's an easy recipe. Just chop and mix. Great for Christmas hors d'oeuvres. Enjoy with Champagne and wine. Spread on a baguette or a bagel and enjoy it for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Cream cheese
about 200 g
Minced herbs (use whatever you want. Basil, rosemary, chive, chervil, Italian parsley, oregano, etc.)
1 tablespoon
about 30 g
Coarsely ground pepper
as needed
Chopped nuts for topping (almonds, peanuts, sesame, etc.)
as needed


1. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature. Mince the prosciutto and herbs.
2. Before the herbs start to discolor, combine the herbs, prosciutto and pepper with the cream cheese. Chill in the refrigerator.
3. Using plastic wrap, roll into a tube and chill in the refrigerator until hardened.
4. Warm a knife with hot water and cut the cheese log into disks. Top with nuts Enjoy as is.
5. With crackers.
6. Spread on crackers.
7. Spread on baguette or bagels.

My favorite herbs with cream cheese and prosciutto. I combined them all together and enjoyed with a glass of wine.
