Wraps (with Homemade Tortillas)

Wraps (with Homemade Tortillas)

You can quickly make these with tortillas.
Wrap up your favorite ingredients with cheese. If you bake them in a toaster oven, they're nice and fragrant.

Ingredients: 8 servings

All-purpose flour
200 g
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
a pinch
Boiling water
110 ml
Filling of your choice
Onions, tomatoes, mozzarella, sausages, etc
as needed of each
Ketchup, mayonnaise, etc
as needed of each
To finish:
Pizza cheese
to taste
Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste

1. Make the tortillas. Put the flour, olive oil, and salt in a bowl and pour in the hot water.
2. Mix with a rubber spatula. When it becomes cool enough to touch, bring it together and knead on a table.
3. Once it's smooth, wrap with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4. Prepare the filling ingredients while you wait for the dough to rest. Cut the filling ingredients into easy-to-roll portions.
5. Divide the dough into 8 portions and roll out as thinly as possible with a rolling pin, and cook both sides in a frying pan over medium heat (you don't need to use any oil).
6. When cooled, roll up the filling ingredients. Line a dish with foil, place the wraps on top, and top with cheese.
7. Bake until the cheese has melted, transfer to dishes, and sprinkle with black pepper.
8. I filled them with mozzarella, tomato sauce, and bell peppers.
9. The one I had at a cafe was filled with feta cheese and tomato. The arugula was delicious as well.
