Pork Miso and Ginger Stir Fry

This ginger stir fry with a miso base goes really well with rice.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Pork (pork belly or thinly sliced)
200g
Green peppers

Onion
1/2
Oil
1/2 tablespoon
☆Miso
1 tablespoon
☆Sake
1 tablespoon
☆Mirin
1 tablespoon
☆Sugar
2 teaspoons
☆Grated ginger
1 thumb

Steps

1. Cut the meat into easy to eat pieces. Finely slice the peppers and the onion. Combine the ingredients marked ☆.
2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pork. When it has browned, add the peppers and onion and fry some more.
3. When the vegetables have wilted, turn the heat to low and add the mixed ☆ ingredients. Mix everything in so it blends well. Lightly fry and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I always make pork and ginger stir fry with a soy sauce base, but this time I tried it with miso. To give it more volume and a bit of color, I added some vegetables.
