10 Minutes in a Pressure Cooker! Spare Ribs Simmered in Yuzu Tea

It takes only 10 minutes in a pressure cooker to cook these ribs after marinating them in the sauce for a little while! You will have tender sweet and spicy yuzu-flavored spare ribs in no time! Great to serve to guests.

Ingredients

Pork spare ribs
400g
Black pepper
a small amount
●Sake
3/4 cup
●Soy sauce
3/4 cup
●Yuzu tea (or yuzu jam)
1 cup

Steps

1. Grate black pepper on top of the meat, and let it macerate in the • sauce for 20~30 minutes.
2. Transfer to a pressure cooker, reduce to low heat after it starts steaming, and cook for 10 minutes. Let it sit until it depressurizes (Place the pot in cold water if you are in a hurry).
3. Transfer to plates, drizzle the sauce on top, and it is done . The spare ribs are really tender! This is a dish with the fragrance and citrusy taste of yuzu.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had boiled spare ribs in yuzu marmalade before, so I tried boiling it in lots of yuzu tea (jam). I used a pressure cooker to reduce the cooking time. It quickly cooked up tender and citrusy, turning out to be a perfect dish for guests!
