Non-Fried Simple Candied Sweet Potatoes

The outside is crisp! The soft inside is delicious too!! But did you know that you can make these without deep frying them or using a microwave?

Ingredients: 2 servings

Sweet potato
1
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Brown sugar (or white sugar if you don't have it)
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Vinegar
1 teaspoon
Sesame seeds
to taste

Steps

1. Wash the sweet potato and chop it up roughly.
2. Put all of the ingredients except for the sesame seeds in a frying pan over low heat.
3. Fry the sweet potatoes on one side for about 2 minutes, then turn them over. Fry until browned. (The brown sugar will candy the potatoes naturally.)
4. Once the potatoes are cooked through and have browned lightly, transfer to a plate and sprinkle sesame seeds. All done!
5. Why not eat them as a snack with wine!?
6. You can also cut them into sticks.
