Separate the cauliflower into small pieces, and parboil. Diagonally cut the wiener sausages into half.
Slice the potatoes into thick quarters. Place in a large heatproof dish, and microwave.
Combine the sauce ingredients.
Lay the cauliflower and wiener sausages in the Step 2 dish, sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle in the sauce. Bake it in the preheated oven at 250°C (500°F) for 15-20 minutes until nicely browned.
Story Behind this Recipe
I don't usually eat cauliflower, but my father gave me one that he grew in his vegetable garden. I always made this dish with broccoli, but I tried with cauliflower this time, and my family liked it better with cauliflower. I flavoured with curry powder, which goes well with the cauliflower.
It's also good to use bacon instead of wiener sausages. When I cooked this dish with broccoli, I didn't use curry power or grated cheese.
