Easy Whole Egg Custard Cream

A simple, sure-fire custard cream recipe made using whole eggs


260 ml
2 tablespoons
Cake Flour
1 1/2 tablespoons
Corn starch
1 1/2 tablespoons
10 g
Heavy cream
30 g
Vanilla essence
2-3 drops


1. Heat the milk until it is warm to the touch, then add all of the sugar and dissolve thoroughly.
2. Mix the egg, the flour, and the corn starch in a bowl.
3. Slowly add the milk mixture to the bowl from Step 2 and mix slowly.
4. Strain Step 3 into a sauce pan.
5. Cook on medium heat while constantly mixing with a wooden spatula, for about 10 minutes or until the custard starts thicken.
6. Add the butter and mix well. Finally, add the cream and the vanilla and mix, and you are done.
