Homemade Atsuage with Salted Tofu

Ingredients: 1/2 block

Salted tofu
1/2 block
Frying oil
Roughly 5 tablespoons


1. Remove the excess moisture from the salted tofu by gently pressing on it with a paper towel. Here is a salted tofu recipe. Recipe ID: 641969.
2. This time I used a tamagoyaki frying pan to fry the tofu in 5 tablespoons of oil.
3. The temperature will increase quickly. Drop the tofu in at a high temperature to start with.
4. Change the temperature to a medium heat and carefully fry. Flip the tofu over.
5. Fry until it's a light brown color.
