Butter Sautéed Oysters with Oyster Sauce

Irresistibly plump oysters are coated with a rich, flavorful sauce in this delicious dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Shucked oysters
18 to 20
as needed
20 g
●Ginger (grated)
1 piece
●Garlic (grated)
2 cloves
●Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
2 tablespoons


1. Clean the oysters (see Hints) and pat dry with paper towels. Dust the oysters lightly with katakuriko.
2. Make the sauce. Combine the ● ingredients in a bowl.
3. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the oysters and sauté them over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.
4. When the oysters are cooked through, add the sauce from Step 2. Simmer briefly over high heat and it's done.
