Refreshing Potato Stir-Fry

This side dish is a refreshing stir-fry made with potatoes coated in a sweet and sour sauce using mentsuyu. It's easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Potatoes (May Queen)
Ground pork
100 g
Green peppers
3 small
Red chili pepper
2 tablespoons
to taste
Sweet & sour soy sauce Recipe ID: 673857)
4 tablespoons
White sesame seeds
as needed

1. Slice the potatoes into 5mm wide strips and soak in water for 5 minute to get rid of the astringent taste. Slice the green pepper in the same manner. Finely slice the red chili pepper.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the red chili pepper. Add the ground pork and when it changes color, add the water and the potatoes. Cook for a short time.
3. Add sake to Step 3 and cover with a lid. Occasionally open the lid to stir everything up, and steam-fry for 4-5 minutes.
4. Once the potatoes have become somewhat transparent, add the green peppers and cook quickly while mixing them in. Stir in the sweet and sour soy sauce.
5. Serve on a dish and sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
