Baked Sausages with Onion Miso and Mayo

A perfect dish to pack in bentos or drinking appetizers.

Ingredients: 2 sausages' worth

Fish sausages
○Mayonnaise (if possible, light mayonnaise)
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
○Minced scallion
1 tablespoon
○Red chili pepper (I used small rounds)
As needed


1. Combine the mayonnaise, miso, minced scallion, and red chili pepper.
2. Spread aluminum foil on a toaster oven pan. Make thin diagonal slices of the fish sausage that's 1 cm in width. Top with the sauce from Step 1 and bake until browned.
3. Serve with salad for breakfast, or enjoy as drinking appetizers or a dish in your bento.

Story Behind this Recipe

I put together this recipe after being chosen as a cooking tester for Maruha brand's "DHA-enriched sausage." It's really good with drinks or in bentos!
