Pacific Saury Simmered in Refreshing Ponzu Sauce♪

Easy♪ A light dish of tender fish simmered in ponzu sauce. Delicious! ^^

Ingredients: 3 fish worth

Pacific saury

Finely chopped ginger
1 piece
Sliced red chilli pepper
1 pepper
Ponzu
50ml
Sake
50ml
Vinegar
50ml

Steps

1. Cut the heads and tails off the fish and remove the innards. Divide into 4 equal pieces.
2. Add sake and ponzu sauce in a pot and bring to a boil. Lay the fish on the pot, and add ginger, red chili pepper, and ponzu sauce. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Remove the lid, cover with a drop lid (otoshibuta) and simmer until the broth has evaporated. Then it's done.
