Atsuage Wraps

They are filling and the sweet salty sauce whets your appetite.
Great for bento as well.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Thinly sliced pork
as needed
one packet
●Soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoon
1 1/2 tablespoons
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon


1. If it's not too much trouble, please pour boiling water over the atsuage to drain the excess oil.
2. Cut into 1 cm wide strips.
3. Wrap with the pork. (I used thinly sliced pork loin this time.)
4. Combine the ● ingredients.
5. Sauté in a heated frying pan. Since the fat comes out from the meat, you don't need to use oil.
6. When the meat is cooked through, pour in the ● mixture, and simmer.
7. Simmer over high heat while shaking the pan.

I created this recipe because I wanted to eat a side dish using leftover atsuage, which whets my appetite.
