In a blender, add the jam and half the yogurt and blend. In a bowl, combine the remaining yogurt and the mixture from the blender.
In a pan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar and heat over low heat. Sprinkle in the gelatin (use the type that doesn't require being soaked in the water), and simmer to dissolve.
Add Step 2 and the lemon juice to the yogurt mixture and whisk well to combine.
Pour the mixture into a container and chill in the refrigerator to set.
Story Behind this Recipe
This is a dessert I got an idea from rearranging yogurt jello. For this recipe, I used gelatin that doesn't require being soaked in water.
Adjust the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of the jam. If using gelatin that does require soaking in water, first soak the gelatin in water and then microwave to dissolve, before adding to the pan in Step 2. For this mousse, I used Easily Made in the Microwave Reduced Sugar Blueberry Jam (Recipe ID: 617326).
