Easy Potato Mochi Cakes with 3 Ingredients

These potato mochi cakes are very easy to make.
Make it with that leftover potato sitting in your fridge.

The photo shows them with a sweetened soy sauce (mitarashi).

Ingredients: 3 cakes

1 large
2 teaspoons
Soy sauce
to taste


1. Gently rinse the potato, drain, then microwave until tender.
2. Peel the potato, add the katakuriko, then knead well (you could use your hands.)
3. Shape into small oval patties.
4. Lightly brown in frying pan with vegetable oil.
5. Season with soy sauce, then serve.
