Story Behind this Recipe
I've been making these since my kids were small. It's a simple cake that you can make in one pot. Please enjoy this old lady's delicious sweet potatoes.
Use the heat from boiling the sweet potatoes to melt the butter and dissolve the sugar. When you add in the egg, it's okay if the potatoes are still a little warm! The total amount of oil + butter is 40 g. The sugar + honey also equals 40 g. You can adjust however much you want! Isn't it nice to have only a few dishes to wash.
