Salmon Basil Potato Rolls

Roll a salmon steak around a basil flavored potato salad and bake in the oven. This is an easy to make and cute dish.

Ingredients: 2 to 4 servings

Raw salmon (block)
350 g
2 medium
2 tablespoons
Dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
Butter (or margarine)
20 g
Salt and pepper
To taste


1. Descale and remove the bones from the salmon, slice into 8 pieces and salt. Microwave the potatoes with the skins on, peel when they are still hot and mash them.
2. Put flour and the salmon into a plastic bag and shake well to coat. Add mayonnaise, basil leaf, salt and pepper and coat well.
3. Preheat the oven to 200℃/400F. Divide the potato in 8 and roll each with the salmon and lay them on an oven sheet to bake.
4. Put a small knob of butter on top. Bake it in the oven for 15 minutes at 200℃/400°F.
5. Sprinkle basil or ketchup on top if you like (the amount not on the list)

Local salmon is delicious in autumn. I wanted to make a dish using potato grown in my in-law's house.
