Rose Jello with Peach Compote

Rose Jello with Peach Compote

This is a jelly made from peace compote.
The faint pink jelly and subtle rose pattern is so pretty that you're going to want to make it again.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Peach compote (See Recipe ID: 655111)
1/2 batch
Compote syrup
250 ml
Gelatin powder
5 g
Water (for gelatin)
2 tablespoons

1. Bring the compote syrup to room temperature. Add the water to the gelatin powder, and reconstitute.
2. Slice the peach from the compote, arrange the peace slices in a circle starting from the center out in the shape of a rose.
3. Dissolve the gelatin, add the compote syrup, and mix well.
4. Fill the container 1/3 up with the gelatin mixture, then chill in the refrigerator for an hour until hardened.
5. Carefully place the rose-shaped peach slices on top of the hardened jelly using a rubber spatula, or similar implement, fill the dish halfway with the gelatin mixture, then harden.
6. Garnish with mint leaves. When the serving dishes are filled to the top with the 2 batches of gelatin mixture and hardened, they are ready to be served!
