Easy White Sauce in 5 Minutes

This white sauce can be quickly whipped up for use in gratins, pastas, and cream croquettes.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Milk
600 ml
★Cake flour
50 g
★ Margarine or butter
50 g
Soup stock cube
4 teaspoons (or 2 cubes)
Salt and pepper
a small amount

Steps

1. Put the milk in a pan and heat (low to medium heat) and mix in the ★ ingredients. (keep mixing constantly)
2. When it just comes to the boil (the edges will start to bubble), add the soup stock, salt and pepper.
3. Mix for 1-2 minutes, and when the sauce thickens, turn the heat off and it's done!
4. You can make a gratin by mixing in macaroni, chicken or sausages, and whatever vegetables you like! Or add tuna and mushrooms and eat with pasta! It's so versatile.
