Easy Creamy Curry Udon Noodles

Easy Creamy Curry Udon Noodles

A friend made curry udon for me, and I loved it! I had some pork and cream on hand, so I made my own version.

Ingredients: 2 to 3 servings

Onion
1/2
Pork
150 g
Ready-made curry roux block (Spicy)
100 g (the package instructions said this serves 5)
Oil
as needed
Milk
150 ml
Fresh cream
3 tablespoons
Water
700 ml - 750 ml
Katakuriko
2 teaspoons (dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water)
Frozen udon noodles
3 packs
Green onion or scallion
a small amount
Fresh cream (as decoration)
a small amount

Steps

1. Slice the onion thinly. Cut the pork into easy-to-eat sized pieces. Stir fry both in a little oil over medium heat.
2. When it's cooked through, add the water and milk.
3. When it comes to a boil add the curry roux and dissolve. Add the fresh cream and mix well.
4. Lower the heat, and add the katakuriko dissolved in water.
5. In another pan, bring some water to a boil and cook the frozen udon noodles.
6. Put the cooked udon noodles in a serving bowl and pour the sauce from Step 4 over it. Top with some finely chopped green onion and a little cream to finish.
