Sweet-Savoury Fried Komatsuna and Minced Chicken Rice Bowl

I fried komatsuna spinach and minced chicken with ginger and sweet and savory seasonings.

Ingredients: 4 servings

1 bunch
Minced chicken
200 g
Ginger (grated)
1 knob
White sesame seeds
4 tablespoons
● Sugar
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
● Mirin
2 tablespoons
●Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Hot cooked rice
as needed
Egg yolks (optional)


1. Wash the komatsuna leaves and discard the roots. Chop finely and grate the ginger.
2. Put minced chicken and the ● ingredients in a frying pan. Crumble the minced chicken and mix well. Turn on the heat. Fry until the chicken mince is finely separated.
3. When the chicken mince is cooked through, add the drained komatsuna and fry.
4. Add the soy sauce to adjust the taste to your liking. Add the sesame seeds. Put the hot cooked rice in a bowl and transfer the fried chicken mince on top. Place an egg yolk in the centre. Serve.
